Privacy and confidential briefs
Your project information stays inside the review workflow.
This notice explains what BuildAcross collects when an agency submits a European project, a delivery partner shares a capability profile, or an authorised member uses a private project room.
Updated 22 July 2026Operator and contracting identity
This pilot website operates under the independent BuildAcross coordination brand. Before paid work begins, the contracting legal party, registered contact details, scope, fees and responsibilities must be identified in the written engagement. A website submission is a review request and does not create a contract.
What we collect
We collect company and contact details, project or capability information, optional cloud links, files you choose to upload, and first-party enquiry attribution such as the landing path, referring page and UTM campaign fields. Private project rooms also retain assigned members, milestones, quotes, scope changes, commercial status, decisions and a security record of important project actions. Each enquiry and project receives a reference. For spam prevention, a one-way hash of the connection address is kept only in short-lived rate-limit records.
Why we use it
We use this information only to assess feasibility, review a potential delivery relationship, respond to the sender, and manage the agreed next steps. We do not sell submitted information or use it for advertising profiles.
Private files
Uploaded files are stored separately from the public website. They can be accessed only by authenticated members of the relevant project room and the BuildAcross operations desk. File type, size and total upload limits are checked before storage.
Retention and deletion
We keep an enquiry or project record for as long as it is needed to assess, deliver and close the project or partner relationship. The operations owner can permanently remove a submission, project room and its uploaded files. Security records may be retained where needed to document authorised project actions. You can also ask for deletion through the contact channel used for your BuildAcross conversation.
Cookies and analytics
The current pilot does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics. Authentication is used only for protected project rooms and the operations desk.
Your choice
Submitting information is voluntary. Do not upload confidential material unless you are authorised to share it. You may use an optional secure cloud link instead of attaching files.
